From 2006 to 2023, Russian Swedish photographer Xenia Nikolskaya (born 1973) traveled across Egypt documenting Coptic artifacts and church spaces. These images underscore the profound connection between Coptic believers and their historic traditions, but also to the changes they are undergoing in light of today's mass consumerist culture.
