This book is the first photographic survey of Rotterdam artist Wally Elenbaas (1912–2008) and his wife Esther Hartog (1905–88). Beginning in 1935, Elenbaas and Hartog spent nearly half a century photographing each other and documenting their environment, yielding some highly personal and intimate portraits.
