Based between Germany and South Korea, painter Jongsuk Yoon (born 1965) oscillates between paradigms of East Asian traditions and Western modernism. Her large color-blocked landscapes, inspired by the mountain range dividing North Korea from South Korea, act as a space of residence unmoored from national topographies.
