This publication gathers more than 120 works by American abstract painter Frederic Matys Thursz (1930–92), most of which are reproduced for the first time, alongside a collection of Thursz’s lectures, interviews and journal entries. Emphasis is placed on the lectures he gave in 1983 at the New York Studio School.
