Born in Ecuador and raised in New York, artist Ronny Quevedo (born 1981) brings his Andean heritage into his work in ways both subtle and profound. In a practice that spans installation, drawings and prints, Quevedo creates intricate and densely layered works that incorporate elements of abstraction, painting, collage, cartography and sports imagery.
