Czech sculptor Ji?í P?íhoda’s (born 1966) early large-scale installations and land art are heavily influenced by the time he spent in the Vyso?ina region. Its landscape served as an experimental space: first through drawings and prints, and later through conceptual terrain interventions.
While living in Austin, Texas, the Czech sculptor/designer/architect Jirí Príhoda (born 1966) produced a series of large architectonic structures in wood and metal, designed for various kinds of habitation. Documenting these pieces, the book includes an essay by Christopher Long.
