Drawing from the legacies of Fluxus and avant-garde music, Japanese artist Yuko Mohri (born 1980) captures imperceptible movements which she then generates into sounds. For her largest institutional exhibition in Europe, Mohri reconfigures three of her major installations, presenting a singular visual and sonic scenography.

As the representative for Japan at the 2024 Venice Biennale, Yuko Mohri (born 1980) fills the Japanese Pavilion with everyday objects through which she projects soundscapes, presenting “the wholeness and interconnectedness of apparently disparate fragments within our everyday existence.”
