A Love--A House--A Ring

Published by Hatje Cantz.
Edited by Ingried Brugger. Essays by Evelyn Benesch, Heike Eipeldauer, Georg H. Holländer, Michaela Pappernigg, Wieland Schmied and Florian Steininger.

The Austrian artist Christian Ludwig spent some of his childhood in Attersee and later built the town's name into his pseudonym. Though he was known in his youth as a sarcastic parodist, Attersee has since been a staunch defender of more traditional painting. This book focuses on his most recent works, which Rudi Fuchs calls "acrobatic images of extraordinary boldness."
