Li Hui (born 1977) constructs installations out of materials such as steel, wood, lasers and LED lights, proposing them as environments in which opposites collide. Thus prehistoric-looking skeletons are stored in vehicles; or red laser beams envelop the ruins of a car. This monograph examines Huiís recent works.
