Brian Griffiths: Crummy LoveBrian Griffiths: Crummy Love

Published by Walther König, Köln.
Edited by Sally O’Reilly. Text by Martin Clark, Nicholas Stewart. Conversation with David Thorpe.

British sculptor Brian Griffiths (born 1968) has been called a “junk shop Viking.” Working largely with recycled materials, the artist often starts his process at secondhand markets. The resultant sculptures suggest adventure and play: cardboard-box spaceships, tabletop caravans and clothes bureau boats with hand-stitched sails. This volume is the first fully illustrated monograph on his work.
