Raised in Barcelona, São Paulo, Basel and the Romandy, Swiss artist Pier Geering (1947–2024) had an oeuvre deeply informed by his geographically and culturally fragmented biography. His colorful but often morbid drawings and caricatures are full of both humor and frustration with the established art system.
