Working across sculpture, installation, photography and drawing, Alfredo Aceto (born 1991) synthesizes manifold worlds drawn from his specific obsessions: from the Neolithic civilization of the Cucuteni-Trypillia to the myth of the super-entrepreneur embodied by former Fiat executive Sergio Marchionne. He creates works both mysterious and seductive, offering connections between fiction, reality and autobiography.

Swiss artist Alfredo Aceto (born 1991) works in painting, sculpture, drawing and sound, mixing personal anecdotes and art-historical references. His obsessional relationship with French artist Sophie Calle, for instance, ended with her signature tattooed on his arm; his projects often deal with obsession, identity and death. This first monograph follows his residence at the Centre d’Art Contemporain, Geneva.
