July 15–17 at The 2022 San Francisco Art Book Fair at the Minnesota Street Project, where we will feature new and classic books from a range of international publishers, as well as a small selection of rare and out of print titles at Booth A-15. Preview is Thursday evening, July 14, from 6–10 PM. All events are free and open to the public!
The San Francisco Art Book Fair is a multi-day festival of artists' publications. This event is FREE and OPEN to the public and will feature artists’ books, art catalogs, monographs, periodicals, zines, printed ephemera, and artists' multiples. These works will be presented by over 100 independent publishers, antiquarian dealers, artists, collectors, and enthusiasts.
Featured titles include: Instructional Photography: Learning How to Live Now by Carmen Winant; CAPS LOCK: How Capitalism Took Hold of Graphic Design, and How to Escape from It by Ruben Pater; William Wegman: Writing by Artist; Dayanita Singh: Let’s See; Mike Mandel: Good 70s; and Richard Prince: Hippie Drawings.
Over the course of the weekend, the fair will be complemented by a diverse range of talks, discussions, book launches, on and off-site special projects, exhibitions and signings. See all fair programming here!
