The ARTBOOK @ MoMA PS1 Magazine Store is pleased to participate in the Designers & Books Fair 2015. We will present a hand-picked selection of most interesting magazines, annuals and zines from around the world!

The Fair, which will be held at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology October 2, 3, and 4, focuses on all aspects of design — architecture, experience design, fashion, graphic design, interior design, landscape architecture, product and industrial design, urban design, and web design.

HIGHLIGHTS:
Books on sale from more than 70 different European, Asian, and American publishers and booksellers, including antiquarian dealers. Many books will be discounted up to 60% off.

Two full days of design-related programs featuring esteemed speakers, including Milton Glaser, Steven Heller, Irma Boom, Peter Bohlin, Juliet Kinchin, Philip Pearlman, and Gary Hustwit. Topics range from architecture and drawing to the design of indie magazines to Kickstarting design books.

The launch of a new book signing program including “Experiences with Authors,™” where you can win exclusive invitations to special behind-the-scenes activities with your favorite authors and designers. Just a few of the offerings include lunch with André Leon Talley, a visit to Louise Fili’s studio, a trip to a design landmark with Julie Iovine, a personally guided exhibition tour with Chip Kidd, and tickets to a Fern Mallis fashion event and VIP reception at the 92nd St. Y. Drawings for book giveaways, including a copy of the hard-to-come-by New York City Transit Authority Graphics Standards Manual (which will also be on sale), and beautifully designed children’s books.

Saturday, October 3: 11PM - 7PM
Sunday, October 4: 11PM to 6PM

LOCATION:
Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Conference Center, John E. Reeves Great Hall (exhibition hall) and the Katie Murphy Amphitheatre (programs) — located at 27th Street and 7th Avenue (northwest corner) in Manhattan.
