FROM THE BOOK
"Why now? Well, why not now? This seems as good a time as any to open my time capsule and reflect on what the contents mean, where I have been and where I want to go. Twenty years represents almost half my life. I have a need to define time now, for fear it may otherwise slip away into an unrecognized amalgamation of events that, without the benefit of reflection, would not inform my future. Under the weight of this self-imposed imperative, I had no choice but to reexamine my art collection's first exhibit."
