"Experiencing Trash and the club nights that followed was like finding London's creative sweet spots. The energy could be strongly felt, the atmosphere was intense and the music entered your body and did strange things inside. The whole experience was inspiring. Creativity was expressed through the music, the dancing, the posing, the playing, the laughing, the seriousness and more significantly the clothes. The fashion was captivating, and I wanted to photograph it. The fashion appeared to be an extension of the wearer’s personality, as like personalities it was unique, eclectic, subtle and strong. The people in this book were singled out because something about them caught my eye."
