As an intern at the Artbook Los Angeles Showroom, you will be exposed to both the contemporary art, architecture, and design worlds and an intimate, well-rounded view of the publishing industry. Interns are expected to make a three-month commitment of at least two days per week. Hours are flexible. Fall internships will run from September through December. The ARTBOOK | D.A.P. Los Angeles Showroom is located in the historic Theatre District of downtown Los Angeles and serves the West Coast gift and bookstore markets. Positions are available for academic credit and interns will receive a stipend of art books.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Current college student with background or interest in contemporary art, architecture, design, and publishing.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, hardworking, and technically savvy. Writing skills and knowledge of Excel are a must.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and InDesign are a plus.

ARTBOOK LOS ANGELES INTERNSHIP Assist with sales representative mailings, sending samples to buyers, and customer data updates. Research and outreach to targeted customer types or specific title groups. Research and assemble title lists for museum exhibitions. General office help and keeping showroom presentable. Receive new shipments and keep sample library in order. Candidate should have strong computer skills and knowledge of current photography and art trends.
