Featured image, a late-60s / early-70s Inflatable Giraffe by the Czech designer Libuse Niklova, is reproduced from The Museum of Modern Art's ambitious survey of 20th century design for children, Century of the Child, which closed on November 5 after drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors and garnering glowing reviews. On Saturday, November 17, from 2-3PM, the exhibition's organizers, MoMA curators Juliet Kinchin and Aidan O'Connor, will sign copies of this superb holiday gift book at R 20th Century Gallery, in celebration of the Objects Show.
