Jan de Vries lived and worked in Belgium during his short life. Best known for his sculpture and installations, de Vries also created a photographic body of work during the last two years of his life before his suicide in 1996 at the age of 30. The artist organized these photographs, primarily images from his life, into the sequence and format presented here.
