Uraguayan artist Alejandro Cesarco (born 1975) invokes the legacy of language- and literature-based conceptual art by the likes of Marcel Broodthaers or Lawrence Weiner. His text works, photographs, collages, films, artist’s books and installations explore emotional dynamics in the language of interpersonal relationships and gender roles.
