D.A.P. is pleased to announce our Los Angeles showroom! Located in the historic art deco Paper Chase printing building on Sunset and Formosa, ARTBOOK @ Paper Chase is open to bookstore and specialty retail buyers, cultural institutions, journalists and other bibliophiles by appointment.
In addition, ARTBOOK @ Paper Chase hosts art book events, temporary installations and a program of talks, lectures and book related gatherings throughout the year.

WHO ARE YOUR TOP TEN FAVORITE ARTISTS OF ALL TIME - AND WHY?
That's the simple question – right? – that's at the core of the just-announced first-ever event of the X Ten Biennial. A cross of sorts between a Desert Island Discs list and a PechaKucha, X Ten Biennial is a live happening where ten creative visionaries will each have ten minutes to present their lists of ten. How each participating artist, writer, designer, architect and curator chooses to spend those ten minutes is up to him or her.

X Ten Biennial is a collaboration between Big City Forum (founder: Leonardo Bravo), writer Jeremy Rosenberg, and the participants and audience members.

"X Ten Biennial provides a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the culture makers of our time, to understand what motivates them, inspires and drives them to impact the world around them," said Big City Forum's Bravo. "X Ten Biennial is the ideal platform for participants to engage with creative visionaries in meaningful ways and connect this to an active sense of social and personal transformation."

The event will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011 from 7-9pm at the Los Angeles showroom of ARTBOOK @ Paper Chase, 7174 Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, on the corner of Sunset and Formosa, two blocks west of La Brea.
