Addison Gallery Of American Art

Intended by its founder Thomas Cochran “to cultivate and foster...a love for the beautiful,” the Addison Gallery of American Art is an academic museum that serves as a resource for the students of Phillips Academy and is recognized as a world-class center of American Art, with a collection of more than 16,000 works of art. The Addison produces an ambitious publication and exhibition program of twelve to eighteen exhibits annually that travel to venues around the globe.
