Wilding's sculptures often consist of two separate elements - which suggest opposites such as positive/negative, male/female, light/dark - through bringing together a range of different materials. With a special focus on recent works Tracking (2007) and Vanish & Detail (2004), this beautifully illustrated catalogue shows the subtle surfaces and shifts in scale seen within the artist's work.
Accompanying full-colour illustrations, texts by poet and curator Rod Mengham, artist Sam Porrit and critic Judy Collins explore different aspects of Wilding's sculptures and their relation to changes within sculptural practice during late 1980s Britain.
